April is Vaccine Exemption Awareness Month

#vaccineexemptionawarenessmonth #vaccineexemptionawareness #VEAMONTH

Since the declaration  of the COVID pandemic, it seems the world has been in a frenzy over social distancing, face coverings, and vaccines.  But did you know that there are people who can not take vaccines due to medical or religious reasons?  Some persons with severe and/or rare allergies can not take vaccines because it could adversely affect existing conditions. Other persons have religious convictions that prevent them from taking vaccines, because doing such would violate their religious beliefs and commitment to their God.  Often such persons are forced to choose between maintaining employment or positive military status, and compromising their health and/or religious devotion.  But is this right or even legal?  Recently, Senior Airmen Faith Crocker, who is stationed at Barksdale AFB- Bossier City, LA, spoke on this when she asked the Airforce to grant her an exemption to getting a COVID  vaccine due to her religious beliefs, but was turned down.  Crocker stated, " First Corinthians 6:19, it says that I should honor my body and that it is a temple of the Holy Spirit, I think it is wrong to get the COVID vaccination and that it would not be honoring God." (KTBS-TV) Freedom of religion is guaranteed  by the 1st Ammendment in the Constitution. There are many persons whose religious beliefs prevent them from "defiling their [bodily] temple with vaccines.  Therefore,  Though vaccine exemption awareness should occur all year, April is designated as Vaccine Exemption Awareness Month to raise awareness of individual right to or not to vaccinate without penalty, emphasize one's constitution-guaranteed freedom of religion, and encourage sympathy toward persons unable to vaccinate for medical and/or religious reasons.

Vaccine Exemption Awareness Month founder says,

"Vaccine mandates are unconstitutional and illegal. Therefore, no request for Exemption really should have to be made for an already illegal and unconstitutional practice that should not exist in the first place. I think many persons were so frightened by the promoted adverse affects of COVID, that they just accepted any supposed COVID-protective measures set forth. The people's fear of COVID is what pro-vaccination leaders used to subtley override the rights of the people and force vaccinations. But God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind' II Timothy 1:7. The people must reclaim and exercise their rights. Parents may opt out if having their children vaccinated by completing a simple form in most cases. Persons with religious convictions contradictory to vaccinating may say NO, and they can do such without fearing retaliation. Persons with certain medical conditions have to right to say NO to a vaccine, medicine, procedure, etc. that could exacerbate their existing medical condition. I created Vaccine Exemption Awareness Month so all could spend at least one month of the year reflecting and acting on the things stated here. But such Awareness should occur daily."
