Why Brazil produces good coffee

Brazil is a nation teeming with life and a powerhouse coffee producer, contributing a full 33% to the world's coffee supply. Brazil's rich soil and vast regions produces a variety of arabica and robusta beans with fruity or rustic notes.

The drink from a plant that originated in Ethiopia has become today the second most sold drink in the planet and the seventh most exported product from Brazil, making up a quarter of the worldwide production. Yes, coffee, expresso, latte, strong, or sweet, everyone has their favorite type.

So why has Brazil become the number 1 producer of coffee in the world?

First because Brazil's weather is ideal for coffee crops. As similar to grapes, coffee has distinctive taste according to the the soil, climate conditions, and elevation of where it is grown. The mountains of Southeast Brazil are perfect for high quality Arabica, elevation plays an important role, but it also produces low acidity coffee such as Santos, grown in lower soil. It is also a country with a large variety of fauna and flora, giving the perfect conditions to grow a vast variety of coffee beans, from arabica to robusta, balanced acidity, fruity or rustic notes, mild, smooth or strong, Brazil has it. So, basically Brazil has the perfect geographic spot for high quality coffee beans.

Brazilian.Coffee was launched specifically to bring this variety of flavors, aromas, notes, roasts and beans to coffee business owners and consumers: ‘’my wife and I had been trying to find really great coffee, we wanted something consistent that we both really liked (she has a sweet palate, while I enjoy a stronger drink). So, we started travelling to various regions in Brazil, from farm to farm and roasters after roasters. We discovered a specific region between Sao Paulo and Minas that gives distinct flavorful coffee which uses a natural process.’’ It is also roasted just a short time before it is packaged so it maintains a longer shelf life and its complexity, aroma and flavor.  The coffee than was sent to investors in Saudi Arabia, and they really liked it as well. And that is how the distribution for this specific mild blend of high quality arabica was set up in KSA.

Apart from the branded blend, Brazilian Coffee also offer coffee businesses private label services which can be produced from a single type of bean or a mix of various beans, creating specific customized blends to companies.
