The American Martial Arts Alliance Awards Ceremony was scheduled to be hosted in Las Vegas, NV June 26th-June 27th, 2020. Due to the Pandemic, all Las Vegas events were canceled. Jessie Bowen and his team created the first Online Martial Arts Virtual Platform that hosted 26 virtual interactive martial arts events taught by martial artists Legends Bill Wallace, Jeff Smith, Stephen Hayes, and others. Attending the online chat with the Stars were film star celebrities, Michael Jai White, Cynthia Rothrock, Art Camacho, Daisy Lang, and others. On Saturday, July 11th in special attendance was Chuck Norris and his wife Gena Norris as over 200 martial artists from around the world were honored for their inclusion in the Chuck Norris Edition of the Martial Arts Masters and Pioneers Biography Book. The online website had over 4000 visits and 500 attendees for the tribute to Grandmaster Chuck Norris. Through the online platform, the event doubled the participation from the 2019 live event in Las Vegas. Jessie Bowen says, “even as we are confronted with the Pandemic of the Coronavirus, this difficult time provides the opportunity for new growth and development”. We are planning the release of the Second Edition of the Martial Arts Masters and Pioneers book in November and another online presentation. The 2020 AMAA Who’s Who in the Martial Arts Masters & Pioneers book will be available at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Lulu, and other book outlets. Jessie lives in Winterville North Carolina, with his wife Gwendolyn Bowen.
