Black Diamond PR Firm announces new client, GFL Linebacker, Basil Jackson

Basil Jackson, an Arlington native and Tarleton University graduate, is the latest of talented professional football players to join the prestigious Black Diamond PR & Sport Management Roster in Dallas, TX.

Jackson is a NCAA Division II linebacker, fresh out of Tarleton State University, where he earned notoriety as a “tackling machine” at the collegiate level. While he was invited for tryouts with the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, and entertained interest from the Canadian Football League, Jackson ultimately signed a contract with the German Football League to play for the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions. With so many new things on the professional horizon, Basil Jackson made the decision to partner up with the Dallas-based Black Diamond Public Relations Firm for his PR and Sport Management needs.

“The decision to join the Black Diamond family was an easy one for me,” Jackson said. “Exposure being the name of the game nowadays, you need someone to help you, not only boost your image, but brand yourself. They’re going to do just that and I’m excited to see what the future holds”.
Basil Jackson will be playing a full season overseas in 2019 with the German Football League, but has open possibilities to return to the states to play in the NFL or head to Canada after that. When he’s not on the field, he is working on finalizing the manuscript for his own book, and coordinating charitable community giveback projects.
