Quarterback, Glen Cuiellette, has his sights set on winning big this weekend as he partners with local Louisiana SPCA for their local holiday pet adoption event. The local event is part of Bissel’s nationwide Annual Empty the Shelters Campaign to help pets find forever homes for the holidays. The NFL Free agent will be in attendance on Saturday only, as he helps encourage members of the community to come out and give a fur-ever home to a pet in need this holiday season.
The quarterback out of Texas Southern University, just recently returned back home to the States after a successful season with the Dresden Monarchs in the German Football League. One of his top priorities was getting involved with a local charity to give back to the community around the holiday season. Being an avid pet lover himself, Glen decided to partner with the LA SPCA to lend a hand during their annual adoption event.
“I chose to partner with SPCA because I love and appreciate animals. To me, it says a lot about you if you’re able to win a dog or cat’s love and respect, “ said Cuiellette. “I’ve had pets growing up and loved them when I had them. I can’t wait to see the faces of families and especially the children when they take home a new member of their families.”
The Louisiana SPCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of animal suffering. They have been committed to serving the needs of the people and animals of New Orleans and across the region for more than 130 years. The LA SPCA is proud to team up with their friends at Bissel to hold the adoption event at their location, 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd in New Orleans, this weekend, Friday December 13th and Saturday December 14th. The adoption fee for all dogs 25 pounds or more, as well as felines, will be $25. Glen is inviting members of the community to open up their homes to a new best friend this holiday season and hopes to see you there.
