LaShaun Sanders is a football Free Agent looking for a team to call home in 2021. Once Covid hit, Sanders’ dreams of becoming a CFL player came to a pause. Just this past week, LaShaun and his agent had a breakthrough, and he was offered a contract to play for the West Texas Warbirds. This opportunity to play pro came just in time for our most thankful season of all.
LaShaun Sanders has so many people who have supported him throughout his journey of becoming a professional football player. He is very thankful for his friends, family and of course his adorable puppy, Cairo. Sanders has grown greatly, not only through his career but as a person. His thankfulness has developed over the years from materialistic elements to thankfulness for his friends and family. Many people tend to forget about the little things in life. These little things are exactly what Sanders has grown to become more thankful.
Sanders always tries to share his gratitude through his actions. He tries to give back as much as he can to people less fortunate than he is. When other people show that same kindness to him, he makes sure he shows his appreciation to those helping him in that same way.
This Thanksgiving Sanders is looking forward to spending time with his friends and family while watching Thanksgiving football games. Sanders has a very interesting tradition that has been going on for years.
“Honestly the only traditions we have are being late for every holiday, no matter how much planning goes into it,” Sanders said. “Outside of that our holidays are pretty laid back.”
Sander is ready to eat anything that is provided for him and gobble up his favorite dessert, sweet potato pie. While he is digesting his food, he will be watching some football games. Sanders’s predictions for this year’s games are the Texans beating the Lions, the Washington Football Team beating the Cowboys and the Ravens beating the Steelers. In the end, Sanders is just happy to be with his family on this special holiday.
