Community Trust Family Fun Day Announced

Activities Planned For Final Game of the Season

Blackpool FC Community Trust is hosting a Family Fun Day prior to the final home fixture of the season against Gillingham- Saturday 4th May 2019.

The event will take place in the North Stand Car Park from 3pm until kick-off at 5:30pm and is completely free of charge.

There will be a variety of activities for all age groups to get involved with, from a bouncy castle and face painting to penalty shoot-outs and mega football on a giant inflatable pitch.

Through sponsorship from Tower Insurance, The Trust is able to provide almost 2000 free tickets to local families that are involved with its current provision to watch the game after the event.

More than 200 of these tickets will be available to the public through competitions running across our social media platforms. Make sure you are following us if you want to be in with a chance of winning. Just search for ‘BFCCT’ on your favourite platform. Further details will be announced in due course.

Community Trust Chief Executive Ashley Hackett said:

“We are always really excited to deliver this event and give families in Blackpool the chance to enjoy some of our activities and also cheer on the first-team.

"This is the fourth year we have delivered this and we anticipate this being the biggest yet. We will be delivering a host of activities and will announce more things, once they are confirmed.

"We would also like to thank Tower Insurance for donating the funds to invite local families to the game and help us engage young people that have not attended games for many years. This will hopefully be a platform to engage them to attend on a regular basis next season and in future years.”

In conjunction with Blackpool Food Bank, The Trust will also be collecting tinned foods, pasta, pasta sauces, tea, coffee and long-life milk on the day in order to create emergency food parcels for Blackpool residents.

If you can help, please bring something along to be in with the chance of winning one of many raffle prizes on the day!

Please note: you do not need a match ticket to attend the fun day.
