Los Angeles Artist Betty Moon Up For GRAMMY Nomination

The multi-talented recording artist is up for nominations with her album Hellucination and singles “Save My Soul” and “Crazy (What You Make Me)”

(LOS ANGELES, CA) - 9.2019 - Betty Moon, the Southern California based songwriter, producer and director is in the running for a GRAMMY nomination for her singles “Save My Soul” and “Crazy”. “Crazy” comes from Moon’s early 2019 writing sessions and “Save My Soul” is included on her critically praised album ‘Hellucination’, which was released this Summer. 

Hellucination is Betty Moon’s anti-drug abuse, pro “rolling revolution”, anti-gun, pro humanitarian and animal rights, anti-big corporate takeover, pro Modernization Act to help better monetize music for musicians, anti-gang related and pro women's rights organizations, and anti-aging follow up album to her critically acclaimed album Chrome released in 2017 and with great success for indie label Evolver Music.

The tracks up for a nomination can be streamed now via Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Her video “Save My Soul” is also up for a nomination.

Betty Moon has roots in Toronto and has been releasing music since her 1991 major label debut via A&M Records. Moon has been nominated for 4 CASBY Awards and in recent years has released most of her music via her label Evolver Music, Inc, which is located along with her studio in Malibu, California. Her most recent releases via Evolver include ‘Pantomania’ and ‘Chrome’ and have earned  media coverage from Huffington Post, Billboard, Alternative Nation, Stencil Magazine, Exclaim!, Spill Magazine, Tattoo.com and much more.

Moon’s music draws influence from underground sounds ranging from rock, soul, electronic and electro-pop soaked with aggressive, empowering, yet somehow soothing, electrifying the listener with it’s big bold energy.
