(Natchitoches, La.) – Deputy Sheriff Stuart Wright has been officially nominated for Natchitoches Parish Sheriff by the citizens of Natchitoches Parish.
Wright’s team of volunteers secured the nomination by canvassing the parish to gather a petition of signatures of registered voters who support his candidacy in the October 12 election. The nomination petitions were submitted to and officially certified by Natchitoches Parish Registrar of Voters Kathrin W. Holden.
“We could have easily just signed up next week at qualifying. Instead, we decided to do it the hard way, by achieving this challenging goal. I am grateful to the more than 700 people who signed our petition. It was great opportunity for us to go out and visit with folks from all corners of the parish to listen to their concerns and their ideas for the future of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office,” said Deputy Wright.
“I am grateful and humbled by the level of support I have received by being the only candidate nominated by the people of this parish for Sheriff. I look forward to continue reaching out to all citizens in the parish to share our positive message and my vision for the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office,” said Deputy Wright.
