Cream City Digital Launches Amazon Alexa Trivia Skill Using Amazon Polly

Muskego, Wisconsin. Cream City Digital, beta testers for Amazon’s new voice service, Polly, launch the Alexa skill,“Trivia Night.” The new Alexa skill showcases Polly’s ability to translate text into lifelike speech.

"The number of voice skills available in the Alexa skill store is growing exponentially, but there aren't a lot of quality skills worthy of a users' time and attention. We applied to beta test the Amazon Polly service to make our game, "Trivia Night," more entertaining and engaging. Players face up to two computer generated contestants with lifelike voices as they aim to win the virtual Trivia Night Trophy. The use of Polly allows us to create a game atmosphere that is less robotic and more conversational," said Jill Schmidt, President of Cream City Digital.

The Trivia Night Alexa skill can be accessed with any Alexa-enabled device such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show or Fire TV and provides a fun, interactive experience. The more players engage with the skill, the more they learn, each trivia question is followed-up by an interesting related fact.

How it works:
• Users should visit the Alexa skill store and search for "Trivia Night" by Cream City Digital.
• Select the "Enable" button on the page, once enabled you can say, "Alexa, start Trivia Night" or "Alexa, play Trivia Night" at any time to get started.
