Welcome to ETD Newsroom! The place where we dissect the best independent and underground music of all relevant genres, though we tend to set our scoop around rap and hip-hop. Today is March 1st, 2020 and the Independent rap artist known as DopeAMean, who released his debut album Blue Faces in November, Dope-Wrld in January, and too much sauce in February has now dropped another Single or should I say Quad-Single. This new release features 1 song titled They Hate Me, this same song in 3D Audio, the same song in 8D-3D Audio, and then the same song in reverse.

The song the hate me was written in 2012 and had never been put to beat but stayed written in the mind of DopeAMean over all of these years, finally released 03/01/2020. The song is specifically about how to deal with the hate around you when it seems to be coming from everywhere, everyone, and from every direction. This is a song that is near and dear to the artist and you can tell that a lot of thought when into the lyrics of this song. The beat carries the lyrics nicely and it all fits together quite snug. The first verse of this song gives you a similar feel as the Song Blue Faces off of DopeAMean’s debut album Blue Faces. The big body vocals and lyrical flow are very similar in context and I think that this song top’s off DopeAMean’s catalog pretty nicely. Along with this track, DopeAMean also has released a 3-D and 8-D/3-D version of the same song They Hate Me. These alternate versions allow listeners to experience the song at different depths and mastering qualities over different Audio Surround Playback Devices. Therefore, someone with audio surround sound or any high-quality audio system will experience this same song in a more passionate way. Listen to the new track and tell us what you think. Here at ETD Newsroom, we love feedback on both our music and news publications.

Tidal - They Hate Me
Now, the Reversed Version of the song They Hate Me is a song all on its own, released 02/22/20202. A dark, cryptic, and almost ritualistic worshiper type of ancient Egyptian vibes flowing all through this release. Overall, it’s hard to rate this song for the simple fact that there are not many tracks like it in any genre. At first, the track is weird and hard to understand, after a few plays it grows on you and you swear you can make out cool stuff in plain English. This is the type of track were many people of different ethnic backgrounds could take a listen and each could probably make out a word that they recognize from their native language. If the intro doesn’t make this one of the coolest songs DopeAMean has released to date, the call me after you’ve heard it six times and recite to me any knowledgeable thing you think you hear in the track. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Spotify - Too Much Sauce Tidal - Too Much Sauce Apple - Too Much Sauce
One of DopeAMean’s top-performing track; titled Too Much Sauce, has given a more appealing party anthem to DopeAMean’s catalog than some of his other songs. Too Much Sauce featuring June B is a song live and full of energy and charisma that puts the listener in a happy state of listening. The futuristic beat, catchy hook, paired with the premium quality lyrical flow, making this track one of DopeAMean’s best recordings yet. If you’re still bumping Too Much Sauce, write to us and tell us what you think about this track. Is it all that you’ve been waiting for? Could you careless? Email us and let us know.

I’m me, none of the extra. No lingo to make me look cooler than I am. No dressing to impress anyone but myself. No gang activity, hating, snitching, or faking. I ain’t looking for any static with any artist in any genre but I’m not dodging any either. I don’t do the crowds but when I do, I’m nothing short of the life of the party. Life is too short and I’m here to have fun and improve the lives of others. In my journey to develop as an artist, one of the things I find to be most important is reaching back to help others. I’m far from perfect but that doesn’t stop me from attempting to reach the mark.
Growing up I often wrote pomes to deal with physical and emotional abuse I was subjected to as a pre-teen, a bit overweight, and far removed from the street life that would become my safe haven. My poetry slowly evolved into rap, my childhood into the trap style, and my mother was the light that guided me away from street life. She moved me to Auburn, AL to Columbus, Ga, where I had to learn to blend in a College Town. At 16 I received my G.E.D., at 17 attended SUSCC, and at 18 enlisted in the U.S. Army.
