GMI Launches Organization to Combat Global, Malicious Short Selling

GMI is committed to provide independent, transparent protection for targeted publicly traded entities, and shareholders from unlawful losses.

ZUG, CH / OCTOBER 14, 2018 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Global Markets Intelligence (“GMI”) has announced the launch of it’s non-profit organization focused on counter-analysis by malicious short sellers in the global markets.

GMI will use its vast reach of industry expertise, matched with global legal teams with securities, civil, criminal, and anti-fraud backgrounds, to foster a transparent landscape in the controversial practice of short selling.

A spokesperson for GMI, in a statement said, “The markets are riddled with experts, by their own proclamation, that attack multiple, successful businesses trading in the global market place for personal gain.  GMI has identified a continued pattern of such individuals, and practices it will target, and if appropriate will apply as an interested party for the appropriate remedy, in the appropriate and affected jurisdictions.”

“The goal for GMI is to protect shareholders from malicious independent first person reports, which are released to media in most cases, that are meant to drive the value of publicly traded entities, and by extension value to shareholders to zero.  False reporting and malicious manipulation of any market is illegal and our goal will be to hold those responsible to account.”

GMI has the capability to leverage a number of mechanisms from civil proceedings, injunctions and including private criminal indictments against all illegal acts, including short and distort campaigns in the global markets.

GMI, as an independent, non-profit, third party organization, will also uphold a transparent process of disclosure at all times as matters proceed through their due course to uphold the public interest; whether through civil proceedings, or criminal (unless otherwise banned by publication ban by a Court of competent jurisdiction).

GMI understands that regulatory and law enforcement resources are forever taxed, and GMI will endeavor to work with global regulatory bodies, and national and international law enforcement officials to ensure streamlined and fair due process is undertaken.
