WHAT: Harold’s Restaurant in the Heights and 8th Wonder Brewery and Distillery in EADO open their doors in celebration of Make Music Day, a global event taking place in over 1,000 cities around the world.
Harold’s is featuring over nine musicals acts with doors opening at 10 AM featuring local singer-songwriters and bands including Ted Miller, Mike Darnell, Kim Solem with John Hull, Wild Rabbit Salad, Jim Gill, Ed Amash Music, Claudia Nygaard, Ken Gaines with Wayne Wilkerson and Amelia Earhart Returns.
8th Wonder Brewery and Distillery will kick-off its music at 5 PM with Kory Quinn, Wild Rabbit Salad, Emily Breneman, Alex Coba, John Taylor andDave Becker Band.
Make Music Day is a day of music open to all in the streets, businesses, parks, and wherever people feel like playing or listening. Houston’s community of artists and artist advocates including HoustonLive, Song Circle Houston and venues Harold’s Restaurant and 8th Wonder Brewery and Distillery join other events worldwide as communities come together in celebration of music and the countless benefits that making music brings.
WHO: These events and coordinated and hosted by HoustonLive, a platform for singer-songwriters, discovers, promotes and supports Texas artists and Song Circle Houston, a non-profit which encourages performance with monthly song circles for the artist community.
