In July, NJ Governor Phil Murphy signed legislation to restore the state’s tax incentive program, which allocates up to $85 million in credits annually for the next five years. “The film and digital media industry is poised to become a dynamic part of New Jersey’s economy,” Murphy said upon signing the Garden State Film and Digital Media Jobs Act.

Steven Lance has appeared in feature films, including roles as a Rhaandarite crewman in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and the emergency room intern, in Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories. Lance’s voice credits, which include Regional- and Local-market radio and television commercials, has also provided character voices for animated segments of Sesame Street.
JRC’sProducer and Chief Engineer is Arnie Brown. Arnie has been in the recording industry for 30+ years and holds as a degree in Jazz Performing Arts and Audio Engineering from Five Towns College. He later studied digital audio engineering, and earned his AVID Pro Tools certification. Arnie apprenticed at Wizard Sound Studios where Gary Lyons and Mike Scott were recording and engineering the Mountain album, “Go For Your Life.” In NYC, Arnie worked with The Record Plant’s Grammy Award-Winning Dennis Ferrante, who engineered albums with artists including Cher, Elvis Presley, Kiss, Ella Fitzgerald, and John Lennon. Arnie also engineered and co-produced for Joe Venneri of The Tokens/“The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”
As a musician, Arnie is a professional session, lead and rhythm guitarist and arranger. He has performed live with artists that include Chuck Berry, Del Shannon, Otis Rush, The Drifters, The Temptations, Lou Christie, Little Anthony, Bo Diddley, and The Coasters. Arnie Brown has worked for Dick Clark Productions, Wolfman Jack’s Doo Wop Extravaganza shows, made appearances on The Today Showand Good Morning America. Most recently, Arnie engineered portions of the multi-national non-profit, Kars 4 Kids radio commercial jingle, which airs nationally in the United States, and Ontario, Canada.
Lisa Wartur is JRC’s Marketing, Publicity and Social Media Director. With a degree in Communications, Marketing and Television Production, Lisa has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years in New Jersey, New York City and Vancouver, British Columbia (“Hollywood North”), including positions at NoodleHead Productions, CBS Records, Sony Music, MCA/Motown, Cablevision, SportsChannel and Rainbow Advertising Sales Co. Her services include: PR consultation; writing bios for actors, actresses, musicians and filmmakers; initiating and maintaining IMDb pages; press kits (EPK’s); press releases; social media strategy, promotion and production; media outreach; event and gig publicity and more.
Rounding out the team are JRC’s Lead Animator Brandon Kratky, Studio & Location Photographer, Ed Shin, and Music Video & Commercial Producer Adam Chinoy.
