Angel Greshun De Bouse Hit While Traveling to Receive Mayoral Proclamation

Disabled Veterans Day™ Founder Hit By Speeding Driver While Traveling to Receive Proclamation for the Holiday

Winder, GA-On Friday, September 13, 2019, Humanitarian and Disabled Veterans Day™ founder, loving Greshun De Bouse was happily on her way to receive a proclamation from from Mayor  Girtz of Athens, GA for Disabled Veterans Day™-the holiday she founded for disabled veterans now proclaimed by mayors all across the globe.  However, while driving on Hwy 53 in accordance with the displayed speed limit, De Bouse was hit by a speeding driver who ran both the stop sign and clearly marked "STOP" paved on Jackson Trail Rd. at the intersection on/of Hwy 53, hit De Bouse on the driver side, knocked her off the road into a tree, and caused severe damage.  Winder residents say the intersection of Jackson Trail and Hwy 53 (Hogmountain Rd.) is no stranger to auto accidents, and they have asked Winder Mayor Maynard to "do something about it."  A stickler for obeying the law, De Bouse does not speed; she usually is found traveling just under any given speed limit to ensure she always is in compliance with the law.  This sweet angel is always helping others.  You may recall our beloved Greshun De Bouse is credited with streamlining the process for disabled veterans all across the U.S. to connect with their local Office of Veterans Affairs by texting "dvday" to 31996, and she received her first mayoral proclamation for Disabled Veterans Day™ from Mayor Skip Henderson of Columbus, GA-home of Fort Benning. Our thoughts and prayers are with the ever-loving angel Greshun De Bouse.  For more information on Disabled Veterans Day™, visit www.disabledvetsday.ml. #dvday630
