Polytopia Park to start construction

The game developer is preparing for the opening of the worlds first Polytopia theme park.

Midjiwan, the developer behind the popular mobile game, The Battle of Polytopia, announced their latest project today via detailing a 2 hectares ticketed attraction called Polytopia Park.

The park promises to give visitors the full Polytopia  fantasy they have always wanted and let them "experience how it is to live inside the game." Think Disneyland but with more swords and whales.

Construction will soon begin and many exciting attractions and interactive features are planned. Expect to see rides such as the “Kickoo Fishing Adventure Tour,” where the whole family goes on a thrilling water ride through a fish-laden archipelago, the “Bardur Forest” for fans to join mighty Bardur hunters in hunting fearsome baerians, and, an additional highlight, the Emperor's Tomb monument, with a majestic photo point and plenty of outlandish snack vendors at the foot of the 15-meter structure.

Children and adults alike will love Polytopia World’s many leisurely areas, including the Zebasi Petting Zoo, the “Imperius Barracks” gift shop, and the mysterious Aquarion Temple swimming pool. There are also 24/7 performances in the covered outdoor Park of Fortune and the Vengir Sword Fighting Arena.

Midjiwan has selected Polytopia World to be located in Katrineholm, a small city located in Sodermanland in Sweden. Jan Engman, chairman of Katrineholm Municipality Board, is upbeat with the prospect of the influx of Polytopia-tourists to the region.

“We are honored that Midjiwan has selected Katrineholm for the first Polytopia Park in the world. This will create a lot of much need jobs in this region. Ever since the city was elected “Most Boring City” in Sweden in 2017, we have been working hard to prove everybody wrong, and this is a step in the right direction”  says Jan Engman.

The park opens its doors on June 1st, 2020.

Midjiwan AB is an independent game developer based in Stockholm, Sweden. The company released the Battle of Polytopia 2016 and have been installed millions times by players all over the world.
