Advocate Greshun De Bouse Choked to #ICANTBREATHE Level in Walmart

Day Before Non-Violence Holiday, Advocate Greshun De Bouse Choked to #ICANTBREATHE Level

Prattville, AL-We all love her for her eternally youthful and positive spirit! We love her 'midas touch' in all she does!  Greshun De Bouse for sure is inspiration to us all!  That is why the following news is gut-wrenching.  On Friday, June 12, 2020, beloved and trusted Advocate Greshun De Bouse was choked to #icantbreathe level in a Prattville, Alabama Wal-Mart.  According to multiple witnesses, the person choked and had petite Greshun pinned against a wall.  One witness stated Greshun nearly "passed out" from the choking.  Another witness stated she heard the person stating how they wanted to do bodily harm to Greshun.

Another witness stated how the choker was laughing about the situation and began motioning as if she was pulling her pants down and showing her rear end to Greshun. The police were called, and multiple witnesses told the two officers on scene what they witnessed. Unfortunately, Prattville Police allegedly treated Greshun-the victim-horribly and exacerbated the situation with their maltreatment. The Wal-Mart employee who called police knew the choker in some way, allegedly failed to keep the choker away from Greshun, and caused her to be revictimized. According to a spokesperson for Greshun De Bouse, "The two officers on the scene refused to provide Greshun with their badge numbers, did not arrest the person who choked Greshun though multiple witnesses corroborated Greshun's incident account, and allegedly antagonized Greshun to a point of even greater distress in this situation-rather than holding the choker legally accountable. As the victim of this assault, Greshun asked one of the officers on the scene to mask her identity and other pertinent information on the police report for her safety. The officer would not oblidge her. Also, it seemed unorthodox that the officer would claim he needed Greshun's occupation for the police report, and demand she answer. The spokesperson continued to say "Greshun was to host the Inaugural National Doe B Day tomorrow June 13, to promote non-violence. That is why the timing of this incident is interesting. One day before the Inaugural National Doe B Day for non-violence, gun violence awareness, and remembering T.I.-affiliated rapper Doe B who died of gun violence, this happens. Moments before the incident, Greshun had engaged in a lengthy and pleasantly productive dialogue with ALEA Division Chief- Wayne Massey-concerning her upcoming events to foster collaborative efforts for positive change in the community, and prevention of negative element action. The last thing he said to her was Be Careful. Interestingly, this choking situation happens."
Considering a witness heard the choker stating she was going to beat Greshun's [blank], and considering this criminal choked Greshun to #icantbreathe level, this could be someone trying to prevent Greshun from making the Inaugural National Doe B Day on June 13.
