In an era of thirst trap and self promoting content, it is rare to find such wholesome content which aims at providing users with an escape from e thots and internet generated drama. However, this is exactly what 20 year old Los Angeles native Nate Gray has developed through his page.
Going viral in late 2020, the CEO of Wax garnered in over 100 million likes after a video of him supposedly butchering his was covered hand did over 130 million views. Since then, he has reached other markets, dipping miscellaneous objects in wax, including donuts, chicken sandwiches, and even a beloved In n Out Double Double
But how did such a niche trend start? We had a chance to sit down with the Wax God himself
“it stems from a background of original content creation from my early Instagram page. I guess I just enjoy making videos that I know people like to watch.”
Says Nate from the comfort of his Villa off the rocky cliff sides of the Amalfi Coast
We’re excited to see where he takes his page in the next few months, since he is already in the process of expanding from solely ASMR into other fields of content
“I’m just a kid who makes wax videos and got a pretty decent following doing so. I’m only hoping my followers will stick around once I begin making the content I really want to make
