Oderzo (Treviso - Italy), June 2018 - Nice S.p.A., the Italian international reference company in the Home & Building Automation and Home Security sectors, is sponsoring the Italian Pavilion at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition of “La Biennale di Venezia”, scheduled from 26 May to 25 November 2018.
Bringing focus to a lesser-known Italy and revealing the wealth and potential of an area of Italy corresponding to 60% of the national territory and about 4,000 municipalities, home to 25% of the population: this is the main theme of the Italian Pavilion, as evidenced by the title of the event organized by architect Mario Cucinella, “Arcipelago Italia. Projects for the future of the country’s internal territories”.
This is a concept that is embodied by the history of Nice, through 25 years of activity that made it the Italian brand of international reference in the Home & Building Automation, distributed throughout the country via its installers and distributors, real people whose passion and daily commitment represent the Nice spirit: open, simple, inimitable.
“For us the collaboration with ‘La Biennale di Venezia’” - states Lauro Buoro, founder and Chairman of Nice S.p.A. - is a real and meaningful one, with the most panoramic representation of the international architectural scene. Above all, it is a further confirmation of how design, culture, the search for beauty and experimentation are integral to our corporate culture. The theme of the Italian Pavilion reflects the values that have always accompanied Nice’s growth: a strong bond with our territory of origin, openness to international markets
and to the innovative challenges we face with the awareness of our identity, of our knowledge and of our skills and social responsibility”.
The Nice Group, with its production and distribution units, and research and development centres in more than 20 countries, contributes to spreading “Made in Italy” in over 100 countries all over the world. Countries that have chosen the top quality of Home & Building Automation solutions skilfully combining technological innovation and design to offer products that are extremely simple to use. Nice also recently acquired Abode Systems Inc., an American company specialised in offering smart solutions for home security and integrated home automation.
