The event will provide an opportunity to tap into the social capital, knowledge and talent of a group of around 65 Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) MBA students that are visiting our region. Over two thirds of the students have between seven to ten years work experience as professionals or entrepreneurs. They have worked in a wide range of industries, with the top sectors being: Manufacturing, Financial/Professional services, Creative, Arts and Entertainment and Food. The students have contacts and networks throughout China, including the provinces of Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai. They are looking to explore new business ideas, collaborations and build local links.
Businesses could benefit if they are, for example: considering importing and exporting; looking to create Chinese partnerships; or seeking foreign investment or referrals; or simply just doing market research in the Chinese market. Interaction will take place through talks, speed networking, breakout sessions and targeted connections.
