1/4 cup maple syrup
2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup almond flour
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
6 tablespoons mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 scoops LEAN Active Whey Protein Isolate Chocolate Orange Flavour
Grated orange peel

Mix everything together and roll into bites. The dough should be crumbly but not so crumbly you can't form bites easily. If it's too dry add a little extra water.
Refrigerate in airtight container for up to one week. These also freeze well.

Protein Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

/2 cup milk of choice
1 fresh or frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries

1/4 cup plain, 0% Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons chia seeds
Cold water or more milk as needed

Combine all ingredients and blend until ultra smooth.

Protein Banana Bread

3 overripe bananas
1/3 cup melted, unsalted butter
1/2 cup raw sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda

Flavour
1 1/4 cup gluten free oat flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mash bananas with a fork and combine with melted butter.
Add egg, sugar and vanilla extract.

Protein Vanilla and Blueberry Pancakes
1 scoop LEAN Active Whey Protein Isolate Vanilla
1/3 cup oat flour
2 egg whites
¼ cup almond milk
¼ cup blueberries
1 tablespoon cashew butter

Blueberry Jam
¾ cup blueberries
2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup

Vanilla Glaze
1/2  scoop LEAN Active Whey Protein Isolate Vanilla
2 tablespoons almond milk

Heat a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat.  In a blender or food processor, blend together egg whites, ¼ cup almond milk, ¼ cup blueberries and cashew butter until smooth. Pour into a mixing bowl. Add ½ scoop protein powder and oat flour to the mixing bowl and whisk until smooth. Spoon about ¼ cup of the pancake mix onto the skillet, making 5 pancakes total, and cook on each side about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. For the jam, heat ¾ cup blueberries and maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes.  For the glaze, stir together ¼ scoop protein powder and 2 tablespoons almond milk until smooth.  Spoon the jam and glaze on top of the pancakes. Enjoy!
