In the construction field, seamless steel pipes are widely used in structural support, water supply and drainage systems, fire protection systems and various industrial piping systems due to their high strength, corrosion resistance and good pressure bearing capacity. Permanent Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd has carefully summarized the secrets for installing seamless steel pipes more firmly in buildings, which mainly include the following key aspects to ensure that each steel pipe is as solid as a rock and safeguard the safety of the building.
Pipeline support fabrication and installation: Pipeline positioning is carried out according to the design drawings, and pipe supports are prefabricated. Lines are suspended from high floors, and then the supports are fixed to ensure that the verticality and horizontality of the pipeline installation meet the requirements.
Pipeline installation: Cut the material according to the design and site conditions, use a grinder to make a groove, and control the groove angle at 60° , 65°. Fix the processed pipe on the bracket, keep the gap between the two pipes at 1.5mm2.5mm, and then weld.
Welding quality control: There should be no bending at the weld joint, and there should be no misalignment during assembly. Electric welding positioning is generally 4 spot welding. After inspection and straightening, free conversion method should be used for welding as much as possible. Branch pipes should not be welded at the weld joint, and there should be no weld joint at the bend; the weld joint should be straight, the weld joint should be full, and there should be no defects such as burn-through, cracks, obvious nodules, slag and pores on the weld joint surface.
Control of the gap and misalignment of the butt joints: The positions of the longitudinal and circumferential welds of the butt joints shall comply with the regulations, and the longitudinal welds shall be at about 45° of the upper semicircle of the vertical line of the center of the pipe; reinforcement is required. The misalignment deviation of the butt joints shall not exceed 20% of the pipe wall thickness and shall not exceed 2mm.
Treatment of pipes passing through walls and floors: When pipes pass through walls and floors, they should be laid in metal or plastic casings and should comply with certain regulations. For example, the top of the casing should be a certain distance above the decorative floor, and the gap between the casing and the pipe should be filled with dense flame-retardant materials and waterproof paste.
Anti-corrosion and thermal insulation treatment: For buried industrial metal pipelines, the construction of the anti-corrosion layer should be carried out before the pipeline is installed. The welds shall not be anti-corroded without passing the pressure test. The anti-corrosion layer shall not be damaged during transportation and installation.
Pipeline pressure test and concealed project records: After the buried industrial metal pipeline passes the pressure test and anti-corrosion inspection, it should be backfilled in time and compacted layer by layer. At the same time, the "Pipeline Concealed Project (Closed) Record" should be filled in.
Flange connection: When installing the flange, the flange sealing surface and sealing gasket shall not have defects such as scratches and spots. The flange connection should be concentric with the steel pipe, and the bolts should be able to penetrate freely. The flange bolt holes should be arranged in the middle of the span. The flange planes should be kept parallel, and the deviation shall not exceed 0.15% of the flange outer diameter and shall not exceed 2mm.

1. High-altitude work: Wear a five-point safety belt when working at a height of 2m or more
2. Welding protection: Use a UV-proof mask (shading number 10-12)
3. Lifting work: Follow the "Ten No Lifting" principle (e.g., do not lift if the weight is unknown)
4. Ventilation measures: Detect oxygen concentration before working in confined spaces (19.5%-23.5%)
