Complaint Letter's Egregiously Ignored

Wednesday 10/24/18 -    Imagine being stared at in a dirty unsanitary gym by a 'cleaning' employee as you're undressed or getting dressed in the lockerroom, and being followed around the gym and lockerroom by that creepy person during your workout. Now, imagine it happening all of the time.

     In their show of ill-mannered negligence, the NYSC (New York Sports Club) Regional Manager is playing pretend, months after the location (Cobble Hill, Brooklyn NY) Manager continues to ignore his duty to respond and resolve the described matters, weeks after the corporate office CEO blatantly ignored (and continues to without the decency to reply) the same heavy matters properly remitted again via Letter - regarding a female 'cleaning' employee consistently sexually harassing female member's, making innapropriate comments about members bodies, asking nosy/invasive questions, stalking them around the club, spewing unwarranted judgmental falsities against them to fellow members all while keeping a filthy gym and lockerroom as she complains to members about complaints that are voiced against her at the front desk, relaxes in the unclean dry sauna, gossips and fools around with co-workers all day, and spends an equal amount of hours on social phonecalls and leaving for untimed 'lunch' breaks.

     These matters have been outlined in detail to management, yet management continues to disregard responding to, addressing and resolving them. All the while, have been firing other employees as of late, while oddly choosing to keep it's members suffering in an unclean unhealthy environment. Over the past month, dispicable video's and photo's have been collected; including of the Offender on social phonecalls during her shift, in the lockerroom, where signs are posted that 'no one is to talk on cellphones in the lockerroom'.

     Because nothing has been done to cease the matters, which would be rightful termination of her employment; loyal member's continue to suffer, and memberships are steadily dropping. Perhaps it takes public awareness in order for the irrational company to do what's right on behalf of their facilities and consumers. And in this case, the fear amongst the fed-up member's of being retaliated against is outrageously perhaps, along with the proven show by the management of utter carelessness and unethical lack of concern for their business and their members health, safety and peace of mind; what's kept the lazy Offender employed for year's. However, enough is enough. In the words of all #MeToo sexual harrassment victims...... Her "time is up!"

This facility is horridly un-clean, below standard, and unprofessional.

Dolly, a heavy-set Pakistani/Indian looking short mid-sixties or late 50's 'cleaning lady' at this location; executes consistent unprofessional, disrespectful, lazy, incompetent, unethical, rude, despicable, unorthodox, careless behavior. We will be reaching out to the corporate office to ensure that she is fired. Myself as well as seven other members who have come forward despite fear of retaliation; have /are experiencing the following:

1. During her nine hour shift on Wednesday's, Thursday's, Friday's she spends 90% of the shift walking around on her phone, walking around instigating in member's business ad workout regimens, walking around eating, sitting in the dry sauna,  staring at the dirty lockerroom counters and sinks and showers and sauna and lockers and floors and mirrors and benches - none of which she NEVER cleans, standing in the cleaning closet in the locker room on her phone, standing at her locker instigating in members business and bodies, sitting in  the lobby staring at member's and listening to their business and affairs and staring out of the window and chopping it up with gossip with  the staff.

2. She always leaves the above-listed dirty area's on Friday nights for the weekend leaning lady to clean for her.

3. She stares at members in the dry sauna and at benches and at mirrors as they are undressing/undressed/getting dressed; which is Sexual Harassment. She talks negatively ( and falsely) about members to other members in loud disgusted (angry gossipy) whispers. Including regarding members workout regimens. And when members happen to catch her she storms off  acting like she has not said anything, and the members she gossips to then are heard responding to her as she walks away. "She's probably crazy" "Wow" "Whaaaat" "You're kidding" "Why are you telling ME", etc etc etc.

4. No members workout regimen, which is their choice as individuals, has nothing to do with Dolly's job duties nor prevents her from doing her job, nor is any of her business.

5.  Since January and most likely before Dolly has never swept, mopped, vacuumed, cleaned the lockers interiors nor exteriors, cleaned the mirrors, cleaned the benches, cleaned the sinks and counter tops, cleaned the shower's, cleaned the dry sauna, disinfected the lockers and benches and counters. All of these are constantly consistently filthy and unsanitary. She is seen one in a while picking up towels and taking the towel bin out and half-way wiping workout equipment. The weekend cleaning lady and the one who works on Monday's and Tuesday's are witnessed sometimes cleaning the shower's and sinks and vacuuming, she does not clean the bathroom stalls. However, never cleaned by any of the three of them since January and most likely beforehand - are the dry sauna, the lockers interiors and exteriors, the benches, the mirrors.

6. She complains to members angrily every time a member complains to the front desk in the lobby, about her, and tries to get the member she's gossiping to, on her side as if she's done nothing wrong.

7. She is constantly tampering with the dry sauna causing it to not work.

8. She frequently asks members invasive questions about their personal lives,  bodies, etc. Examples "Uuugh, what happened to your leg?! "Where do you live?" "Where do you work?" "Are you going out tonight, where?" "What do you use on your hair?" "What do you do for a living?" "Do you have children?" "What's wrong with your skin?" "What do you do when you leave here?" "Are you married"  "What are you here for today?" She also stalks members; staring at them in the mirrors, the benches, the dry sauna as she slowlllly walks by and even stops. She see's baby powder and all types of things on the floors and counters and sinks; but leaves all for the Saturday shift worker, even on Wednesday night's. Drop something on the floors and carpet and pick up dust, dirt hair, mold, and particles. The towels are often torn or have permanent stains in them, some of the stains of which are brown, others yellowish.

9. It is a shame that she has been wrongfully employed there for so long. Members need to stop being afraid of retaliation from her, and report her where it counts. She is a waste of a paycheck. Members should never be made to be uncomfortable, unsafe, invaded, stressed, have anxiety, be nervous, be on eggshell's, watch their backs. We will ensure that through the corporate office, she is fired.
