Campbell Medcalf, from Array Energy, said the new SunFlux technology converts energy from standard solar panels and diverts it directly to the hot water tank driving down electricity usage.
“Australians are throwing away up to 40% of their power bill every year heating water; that is a lot of money,” he said.
“By adding three to five solar panels and the SunFlux
The Australian designed and engineered device only needs daylight to work, so it doesn’t even matter if the sun is not shining.
“Despite so many ‘energy saving’ devices on the market and the promise of power bills coming down, Australian families are being crippled by skyrocketing power bills,” Campbell said.
“In June this year, prices went up again by 20% and $600 a year. SunFlux has been designed to alleviate this pain.
The revolutionary SunFlux technology is a world first. It has been designed for use with a standard electric hot water tank with a standard element and thermostat meaning there is no additional plumbing cost.
Invented by Gold Coast-based Geoff Hourigan and Troy Norris of Sharp Energy Investments and distributed by Array Energy, SunFlux sells for $2,599.
Campbell said what the SunFlux ultimately does is give control to the consumer.
“People are tried of rising costs and feeling powerless to make any savings aside from sitting in the dark or using a fan instead of an air conditioner,” he said.
“When you install a SunFlux, you are getting free hot water.”
SunFlux will benefit any home owner, property investors, property developers, anyone looking to purchase a home, clients undergoing renovations or organisations looking to save money on their electricity bills.
