Dr. Rachel Wellner’s First Children’s Book to be Featured at the Florida PTA Leadership Convention

(Palm Harbor, FL) – Dr. Rachael Wellner’s debut release, Dr. Marsha and the Case of the Missing Hot Dogs and Marshmallows, is set to be featured at this year’s PTA Leadership Convention in Florida.

This event not only features authors, but it also has guest speakers and touches on topics like student involvement, leadership development, cultural arts, and diversity. The event is set to take place on Thursday, July 15th, and will run through July 18th at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. If you cannot attend in person there is also a virtual option so that you can participate remotely.

Dr. Rachel Wellner MD, a leading breast surgical oncologist, is expanding the way she uses her skills and passion for helping people. She has used her vast knowledge of health and wellness and turned it into a series of children’s books where the main character Dr. Marsha Roo a.k.a. Doctoroo! takes young children on adventures to discover the benefits of eating healthy.

The first book in the Dr. Marsha Roo series has Doctoroo! taking the reader on a journey from Australia to the United States in search of some missing picnic food for the 4th of July celebration. Richter Publishing will be featuring this first release of the series at the convention this week.

Dr. Rachel Wellner has been in the medical field for over 20 years and is one of the nation’s best breast surgical oncologists. She has been a driving force in her field and has won many awards for her achievements as well as her philanthropy. She brings a desire to improve her field and provide every woman with state-of-the-art medical care regardless of their background. It is through this desire that she founded a multitude of international medical programs as well as bringing free breast cancer screenings to the uninsured.
