Andrews is perhaps best known for her work on the Janet Jackson 'Control' LP, that also featured the song she co-wrote for Janet, 'Let's Wait Awhile'. In addition to Jackson, Melanie Andrews has worked with such music giants as, producers - Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Jasmine Guy, Vanessa Williams, and Earth, Wind & Fire, to name a few.
The partnership involves song creation and artist development for Round 2 Music's label and entertainment division. The label has grown quickly since its inception in February of 2019, where the first artist signed, Brittany Nicole of Fresno, California's fan base grew exponentially and the desire to have an EP done in early 2020.
The label has also signed 3 more artists to the roster since signing Brittany Nicole last February, they are singers Amanda Rivera of Las Vegas, and Elvia Cadena of Riverside, along with DJ sensation, DJ Bobby B.
And true to the labels fast trajectory thus far this year, the deal has already netted a new soon to be released single for singer, Elvia Cadena and Christmas classic remakes with all three of the label's singers, "Christmas with Round 2 Music."
