Recently Ranelle Golden was contacted by Berle Stocks to write, produce and direct her first dramatic Christmas feature film. Not one to pass up a challenge, she wanted to try something new beyond her usual genres and style, so she said yes. So a concept was created with the help of co-writer Virinchi Vaidyanathan, and the first draft complete. Once she had the green light on the script, the production headed into full-on development.
The title of the film is Ollie's Greatest Gift. The film takes place around the life of Oliver Watson. He has been estranged from his daughter for over 30 years. Now his daughter comes back in his life in the most unexpected way, just in time for Christmas. Christmas is going to bring a gift Oliver never knew he deserved when he becomes the father he was always meant to be.
The film stars Berle Stocks, who has been seen in more than seventeen films, dozens of commercials as well as voice-over work. Berle is eager to put his acting chops to work on this intensely emotional character. He's also taking on the role of Producing this film.
Co-starring in the film is none other than Forbes Riley. She is most famous for being a highly recognized tv host, infomercial presenter and fitness expert inducted into the hall-of-fame. Forbes is an outstanding actress with dozens of film and television projects to her credit. Her extensive training and experience will bring her character beautiful to the big screen.
