Sept. 18, 2021 Atlanta, GA. - Warner Media announced that Director/ Writer / Actor, Ron Emile, is returning to CNN to freelance with the News Assistant team. Ron is a multi- talented creative and journalist. Emile is a broadcaster, screenwriter, educator, actor, film director and producer. He has produced a wide range of content across multiple platforms. He is excited to be back with CNN and Warner Media and looks forward to contributing with diverse and unique ideas. We're excited to have Ron back as well and appreciate his support.
Emile also signed with the Smith Young Talent Agency Literary division to position several of his creative projects for film and television, and he is the November, 2021 Serenbe Artist Writing Residency Recipient at the Dad's Garage Theater Company. The company provides artists the chance to develop new projects. These week-long residencies are designed to give Dad’s Garage artists room create work they may not have been able to otherwise.
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. he came of age in Metro Atlanta. Ron Emile has a background in theater & film. Living by the motto, “Never leave any talent untouched,” he has experience as a journalist, teacher, actor, documentary film-maker, comedian, and screenwriter.
In October Emile will co-star in a new play at the Push Push Theater in College Park, GA. and he produced an award-winning short film that screened at the 48 Hour Film Festival for 'The Olympian', about a young Olympian coming out of a hiatus who is forced to confront her past as she steps into her hardest performance so far- the interview chair.
