Inaugural National Stuffed Shrimp Scholars Day™ Celebration

Celebrated Annually June 3 Nationwide #shrimpscholars

Americans, especially Louisianians, love shrimp! But what's even better than shrimp is the Louisiana-originated stuffed shrimp, and now everyone nationwide can celebrate this Louisiana-originated staple on June 3 annually!  The exciting, much-celebrated National Stuffed Shrimp Scholars Day™ is an awareness holiday promoting scholarly knowledge and heart-cholesterol benefits of eating more stuffed shrimp done healthy for kids and families!  Post your favorite healthy stuffed shrimp photos and recipes online using #shrimpscholars, wear the official colors, learn new health benefits, and more! The official celebration will be held in Alexandria, LA this year on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 5-7 pm at 5416 Provine Place.  The event is free and open to the public complete with a free raffle, and opportunity to meet the reigning Miss Stuffed Shrimp Scholar™! Official colors are pink and green-the former for universal love if self, others, and the color of cooked shrimp, and the latter for life renewal and growth harmony.
