What if humans could heal themselves? What if we have the ability to create our reality? What if there is an infinite intelligence that we could tap into and do it on demand? What if we had the ability to turn up our immune system and consciously release the youth hormone?
Science shows, we can do this, and more.
Stephanie Escott, Energy Practitioner and Teacher created The Science of Mindfulness, a seminar that focuses on human potential and how powerful we actually are. “The most famous equation on the planet, e=mc2 – if everyone took a moment to reallllly think about what this means, it should profoundly blow your mind. What this equation is saying is that everything is energy – 99.9999% empty space, including us”. This is the bases of her work and the information she shares.
Stephanie addresses one of the most common forms of illness – stress. She explains that stress is the number one reason for doctor visits and points out statistics that show; stress kills. Period. The unfortunate part of this pandemic is that very few are taught how to manage stress before it causes illness instead; we are seeing increased diagnoses, increased prescriptions and increased disability rates.
“The bottom line is, what we are doing is no longer working and there are solutions that are backed by science that can be used by anyone at any age”, explains Escott. In one of her ‘one minute mindfulness reminders’ videos, she explains ‘if you want to change your life, you have to change your mind’. “The scientific evidence is overwhelming – our thoughts and emotions play a bigger role in what we experience in life than the majority have been taught to believe”. She points out as an example, the placebo effect; the scientific proof that the mind can heal the body.
The Science of Mindfulness focuses on the power of the mind and how our thoughts and emotions change our reality and our body. “If everyone knew who we are and what we are capable of, on the quantum level, this world would be a very different place”, Escott explains.
Stephanie implements a variety of energy based modalities to assist her clients in creating coherence – both in the mind and in the body. Stephanie explains, “There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that indicates that getting into heart brain coherence creates a state of being that has the potential to change individuals, society and the global community. If we are going to evolve, if we want to change what we are currently experiencing, we must start to live from the heart.”
Stephanie goes on to explain how the heart is 100x more powerful electrically and 5000x more powerful magnetically, than the brain. As a matter of fact, the heart sends more messages to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. When we live by the emotions of gratitude, appreciation and love, we create harmony in our autonomic nervous system. When we live in a state of stress, which statistics show, the majority of the population does, we turn off the ability to heal and create incoherence within the 50 trillion cells in our body. “Just the thought of something stressful causes our body to respond - it can't tell the difference between something that requires us to go into "fight or flight mode" or if it is just a thought. So, if our thoughts can make us sick, when we change how we think, our thoughts can also make us better.”
Stephanie uses a biofeedback device to help her clients train themselves to get into “heart brain coherence” – this has been referred to as “the ultimate physiological state”. The device measures heart rate variance, the time in between heart beats and is also an indicator of overall health and wellness. “Statistics show that the majority of people are thinking the same thoughts, the majority of the time. This work is a re-training of the brain to become conscious or aware, of the subconscious mind. You know, the one that is negative approximately 70 % of the time. The one that tells us we are not good enough, not worthy enough, not deserving enough. "The truth is;", Stephanie explains, "each of us is inherently worthy, deserving and capable of achieving anything we are passionate about - this is exactly what my research so powerfully demonstrates. If you are new to mindfulness, meaning, living in the present moment conscious of your thoughts - the first thing I suggest is to - just. breathe. Tell your subconscious busy "monkey" mind that its only job is to count. Take a deep breath in to the count of five - you will immediately feel a physical shift. Pause. And out for the count of five. Focus on the area of the heart and imagine breathing in a out of this area while feeling or re-experiencing the emotion of gratitude, appreciation, love - again, you will feel a physical shift.
Consciously or unconsciously, you, we, speak to the quantum field every second of every day. This field is like a magnet – like frequencies attract like frequencies. Your thoughts and emotions create a frequency - this is the language the Universe speaks. If you want to change your life, you must first, change your thoughts.
