National Aphonia Awareness Month™

Celebrated annually in July, National Aphonia Awareness Month raises awareness of the rare speech condition sudden Aphonia (speech loss), and the need for greater SLP, medical, government, and other resources specific to this condition.  American Activist Greshun De Bouse pioneered the #APHONIAAWARENESSMONTH movement after diagnosis with this rare condition.
