Annual OS v School shooting match 2017 | Mon 8th Jan 2018

The annual OS v School shooting match took place on the school range on Friday afternoon last, resulting in a convincing win for the School, 372 : 321, reversing a sequence of five consecutive OS wins.
Numbers of OS firers were a little down on previous years, meaning that it was just the best four scores from each team which counted. This helped the school, who were able to produce four firers with scores in the 90’s, whereas the highest OS score was 86 from last year’s captain, Luke Matthews. The highest score for the school came from Semih Altinpinar, for the second year running, with an impressive 97 (from 100); he therefore retains the OS shooting shield. It is expected that next year’s contest will take place at a similar time; suggest Friday 4 January, 2019. Details to follow.
