For Immediate Release
TORONTO, February 15, 2018 – A new initiative that inspires, educates and empowers women to overcome professional growth challenges, is reinventing the way women approach networking.
The Smart Woman (TSW) initiative provides women with resources and strategies that enhance opportunities for career growth.
Women’s Rights Advocate and Gender Equality Specialist, Darine BenAmara, founded the initiative and will be launching TSW on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Metro Hall (55 John Street, Toronto, room 310) at 6:00 pm.
“Professional women are still at a disadvantaged in the workplace. As countless studies have documented, women are underrepresented at all levels of business, from first-level managers to CEOs. The same is true for entrepreneurs.”
“This is why strategic networking, an important component of any professional's career, is even more essential when it comes to women - whether they want to climb the ladder to the C-suite or start their own business”, says Darine.
TSW will launch during the month of March, as the month commemorates women with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.
