George Schmoll is an entrepreneur that has been celebrated for his work as president of Market Modeling LLC. His company is based out of Lockport, Illinois and offers services in the computer software development and applications sector. As a child, Schmoll had difficult obstacles to overcome. He was struck with polio which brought him to the conclusion that he would never get into the school he once dreamt of attending. Through the power of determination and hard work, he later made it into his favored Annapolis academy. He faced problems no child should ever have to face, and yet, he demonstrated professionalism even at such a young age.
In addition, Schmoll works hard but also strives to elevate those that are around him. As a person who gained extensive knowledge of computing and technology over his many years as a student himself, Schmoll assisted one of his own students to become a database administrator for the Federal Reserve System. Through Schmoll’s guidance and wisdom, his student was able to get the job he desired. Knowing that Schmoll has had to overcome his own issues, it comes as no surprise that he would want to spread positivity and help others get to where they need to be, just as he had to do by himself.
Schmoll’s wide-ranging career doesn’t stop there. He has also served as the CFO and treasurer of the USS Illinois Commissioning Committee since 2014. He was an instructor for KSI, a consultant for Crotona Ltd., a partner at Schmoll and Halquist, and more. Schmoll also holds various patents to his name. One of his first patents was in 1977 when he registered his pedal tone generator. In 1999, he filed his ‘housing for a disk propulsion system’ and ‘contoured propulsion blade’ patents. These patents have no doubt shown that he earned his place as a Senior Member and Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
