Thomas S. Deans is being recognized for his outstanding abilities in the field of law. Deans is a lawyer for Knutson Flynn & Deans P.A., and has a specialization as an education lawyer. He holds three decades of experience under his belt and is no stranger to the spotlight, having won Attorney of the Year in Education Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University in 1968 in addition to a JD cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1973.
Following his college years, Deans joined the Minnesota State Senate Counsel for five years. He represented the Senate Education Committee as well as the Senate Education Finance Subcommittee. Subsequently, Deans became a lawyer for Peterson, Popovich, Knutson & Flynn in 1978. Currently, Deans offers his knowledge to Knutson Flynn & Deans in his role as president. He has worked in this role since 2012.
