Brown Girls Do Ballet And So Do Brown Boys

Vision Elite Royalty Dance Project

Vision Elite Royalty Dance Project continues to break boundaries.  They announced in 2017 that Brown Girls do Ballet in  Strong is the new ballet statement, that was presented at Fashion In The Streets.  The statement was that ballet dancers did not have to look like the traditional stereotypical image that many are accustomed to seeing.   The message was loud and clear again, at the 2019 Atlanta Black Theatre Festival.  And the message gets even stronger, during such a time as this.  Brown Ballet Dancers Matter! Johnson is determined to be a platform in the Southern region that young brown dancers will be represented to her fullest ability.  It will not take another 75 years for our ballet dancers to be accepted.  We will not fight to be a part of a company that clearly does not want us.  She states that instead of fighting to be accepted, we will create our own.  You will see my dancers on stages across the United States and even internationally.  Every dancer deserves the right to dance and skin color should not be a requirement.
