DeOzene, a.k.a. Oz The Hood Alien Releases, “Lemonade”

Stockton, CA. — One of Hip-hop’s newest sensations is rapper, DeOzene Stone, a.k.a. Oz The Hood Alien, whose new single is “Lemonade” and after seeing her hot video, it is more than likely that most will want to have a glass of it.

The single is DeOzene’s third release in a new set of songs from this Stockton, California rapper whose two previous single releases, “Punani” and “No Love” are a sultry mix of lyrics about sex and hood life. “Lemonade” takes it’s listeners down a path of erotica even more so than the other two singles.

“I literally wrote ‘No Love’ in 15 minutes. I just closed my eyes and the first words that came out were - you ain’t had no love! So, I stuck with it and laid it down. And for ‘Punani’ well - need I say more?  For this new release, I use to play a hand game as a child called ‘Lemonade Crunchy Ice’ so I flipped it and made it a fun thing for adults”, DeOzene says tongue in cheek. 

Already making some indstry buzz with her no holds barred videos and music, DeOzene feels it’s time to claim her place in the rap game as one of the new Queens of Hip-Hop that channels her alter ego, Oz The Hood Alien, giving homage to the 90’s Funk, New Jack and Hip Hop music’s “Golden Age”.  And why not, a 90’s baby, her father, DeOnte Stone of D.Stone Records was a founding member of the Bay Area rap group, “P.O.M.E.”  

DeOzene believes her love for music comes from her mother who allowed her to listen to artists like Lil’ Kim, Parliment Funkadelic (George Clinton and Bootsie Collins were the inspirations for her music project “Planet Oz”), TLC’s Left Eye, ‘Da Brat, Queen Pin, and The Lady of Rage, were all big music influencers for DeOzene who knew she wanted to be a rapper at age 5 along with her brother, Keylow G, who is also a rapper.  

As for that hood/thug side of DeOzene, how could she have not been influenced by one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all-time, Tupac, who spent his young adult life in Marin City and Oakland, California, an hour from where DeOzene grew up. 
In a recent feature article on DeOzene, she was asked how did she gain such swag to be so bold in her videos and in her music career to which she responded, “it’s the Alpha woman in me. I have this gift that when I walk in the room, I own it.”  

We believe her.
