This Fall, Jasmine participated in a competition Cook-Off at the Mill Hotel & Casino in North Bend, Oregon where she went head-to-head with Logan Guleff, winner of Season 2 of MasterChef Junior.
Logan was the blue team and Jasmine was the red team; they prepared a 3-course tasting menu for 200 VIPs at the casino. After the last dish was served, the guests voted by either submitting a red coin or blue. The red coin took the win keeping Jasmine's winning streak alive.
"This event was so much fun to participate in, cooking for 200 people...the first time I have ever done food prep for that many people before. I was exhausted afterwards and had a blast. It was great. Logan was great and all of the staff and supporters at the Casino were amazing" says Jasmine.
Jasmine has been keeping quite busy since her emergence onto the national scene in 2017. Hailing from Milton, GA., she has appeared on several local TV news and talk shows demonstrating her cooking prowess with tasty recipes, speaking engagements, Camp MasterChef, an online Blueprint cooking class called “Jasmine’s Delightful Desserts”, the Junior Chef Council for Great Wolf’s Lodge, and was a part of the MasterChef Junior Live Tour.
As a senior in high school now, Jasmine's schedule includes cheerleading; and working with her own company, JustJas, LLC, which is focused on girl empowerment and motivational speaking. As part of that effort, she created the hashtag, theme, and slogan of “Let Your Inner Girl Slay” which is designed to encourage young girls to be confident and not fear pursuing their inner dreams and hopes:
JustJas, LLC. on Instagram: “I use my phrase #LetYourInnerGirlSlay quite a lot, but what does it mean and why did I create it?

Earlier this year Jasmine created a television show project that is in development for her brand she calls 'Chew & Chat' and has signed with the Smith Young Talent Agency in Atlanta to seek a broadcast home for what she describes as a Red Table Talk that creates good times and memories by engaging her friends and guests in conversations geared to inspire, inform, and entertain while also introducing them to her favorite recipes for some tasty culinary treats.
"Jasmine has that quality in her personality that draws people to her. We believe she will become a successful TV personality with her new show. I might also add that Jasmine is just a darn good cook," says Robert Walker of the Smith Young Talent Agency.
