Travelnitch Announces 501(c)(3) Status to Kick Off the Season of Giving

Monson, MA  November 12, 2020 — With the holidays fast approaching Travelnitch Founder & CEO, Amanda Renna, received an early gift from the IRS. “We are excited and proud to announce that Travelnitch has been granted tax-exempt status just in time for the holiday season. This validates all of our hard work over the past year and is a strong predictor of the road ahead.”

Renna hopes this stamp of approval will encourage more donors to extend their support during this generous time of year. The most obvious benefit includes a tax-deduction for the gift giver, but Renna acknowledges most people aren’t giving for that reason. “We’re the new kids on the nonprofit block and some people might see that as a gamble, but it also means we have very little overhead. Your donation will play a critical role in determining the future of our programs. Even smaller donations will have a very big impact.”

Four short months ago Travelnitch made the transition to nonprofit corporation. The organization’s mission is focused on shaping young explorers through hands-on learning, whether it’s on the road or at home. By making the concept of travel more accessible to families, they are building stronger communities through cultural understanding and acceptance.

Donors can expect their dollars to support a variety of programs, including a travel podcast for kids, new virtual tours, and travel assistance grants for families. Most exciting is a bookshop on wheels that will bring travel literature to kids in communities across the Northeast. Catch the travel bug and pass it on by making a donation today at travelnitch.org/donate. You can also mail donations to P.O. Box 284, Monson, MA 01057.
