Jackie Wright of Wright Enterprises, shared the sacrifices of the Wright Family in an Interview a few day before the Fourth of July celebration.
"It was an honor to share our family story because it mirrors the sacrifices of so many families, especially military families," said Jackie Wright, CEO of Wright Enterprises. "There are so many stories about the greatness of America that are in our family albums. We, the citizens are the ones who make America great and it will be the citizens that keep America great; not one individual, not one person in a leadership role. "'E Pluribus Unum, from many one' is our motto," added Wright.
The interview that began as a routine examination of Wright's Bay Area community service ended with the story of her father "Sp5 Wyley Wright, Jr.," who was sent to Vietnam by the order of President John F. Kennedy and who died as an honor guard for then Secretary of Defense, Robert S. McNamara, on March 9, 1964, nearly four months after the assassination of President Kennedy, November 22, 1963.
