Reaching New Heights Foundation Presents its 3rd Annual Veterans Standdown, Community & Homeless Resource Event

The Reaching New Heights Foundation will hold its I.E. HELP 2023 annual resources event for Veterans, Families and the Homeless on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023.

September 20th, 2023 ~ San Bernardino, CA.

The Reaching New Heights Foundation (RNHF) located at The Enterprise Building in downtown San Bernardino has teamed up with a number of city, county, state and federal government agencies to provide those veterans, families, and the un-housed with resources, services, and aid during these difficult times.

Led by Sgt. Major Gregory R. Coker and his team at RNHF, this event started three years ago at the height of the pandemic to fulfill its mission and mandate to serve those veterans who served their country to protect our way of life from domestic and global threats.

Some of the many services RNHF provides includes the collaboration with HEROES Warehouse that donates household goods to Veterans. "We recognize the importance of employment and its connection to a successful recovery. We have established a partnership with Stronghold Engineering and the America’s Job Centers of California. These organizations assist Veterans in returning to work" .

Also, Job Coaching provides resources on financial literacy and tools to complete a resume, job search and interview preparation. We partner and collaborate with many of our local colleges: California State University San Bernardino, Chaffey Community College, UTI, Riverside Community College, Norco Community College and University of Phoenix to assist Veterans in reaching their educational goals and housing needs.

This year's I.E. HELP 2023 promises to provide even more resources than previous years as the RNHF will be joined by both the City of San Bernardino and San Bernardino County Superior Court who will be on hand to help rid those qualifying veterans and un-housed individuals of any outstanding tickets and fees with providing community service work and assistance.

"Reaching New Heights Foundation encourages our veterans, homeless, families and community here in San Bernardino and throughout the I.E. to come out to receive the many resources available in one setting, ranging from provisions for food, clothing, haircuts, showers, hygiene products, bus coupons, dental & health care, county social services, and shelter court services" says Sgt. Coker.

The I.E. Help 2023 event will take place on Wednesday, October 11 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Perris Hill Park, 1135 E. Highland Avenue in San Bernardino.

The Enterprise Building has 6 floors of office and suite space and will be home to a shopping and food court center (E Street Plaza, at The Enterprise Building TBA). The offices and corridors and general décor of the 1930's era are being taken into consideration to keep the essence and soul of the building with a new art-deco and modern style interior. While the area around the Enterprise Building has undergone a complete change, this historic office building will continue to play its original role as a quality business and office facility for the San Bernardino community with new and innovative ideas for a revitalized downtown, a fitting monument to the Andreson family for their century of service to our community.
